Emergency Motion “Free Human Rights Activists in Zimbabwe”

Kyiv, 10. December 2016 – Respect for Human Rights matters. In Europe and across the world. This is why, on the International Day of Human Rights, RCDS Germany and YCGE United Kingdom presented an urgent motion on the alarming developments in Zimbabwe where critics of the Mugabe regime face more repression than ever. Adopted unanimously, the motion calls for an independent investigation into the harassment, abduction and brutalisation of human rights activists and further for the immediate release and retraction of all charges against six activists who were unlawfully jailed for a peaceful protest.

We stand in solidarity with the victims of Mugabe and the brave activists fighting for their rights and dignity. #ThisFlag
